If you have watched the movie, you can see the Celtic people in the forest we have learned about. Every Celtic tribe had its own name. In the film, you can see the Britons. (This is where the name: Britain comes from.) The Scots and the Irish were also Celtic tribes. They settled in Scotland and Ireland.
You already know that the Romans left Britain and the Saxons came in. The Saxons were very different people. They came from Scandinavia. They were similar to Vikings. They were not so civilized as the Romans. The Romans built roads and baths and aquaducts (vízvezeték hálózat). Some of them are still there today.
Your homework: (1)search the web for the Roman name of London. (2) Bring a picture of a Roman building that is still standing today in Britain. Write where it can be found and what it is.
